Solon, Ohio January 2003 – Resolution Integration Solutions, Inc. announces the implementation of Resolution products to integrate the engineering activities in building oil drilling platforms for Sarawak Shell Berhad, Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Limited of Malaysia.
Resolution’s Surface Data Integration project significantly improves the time searching for information. Where information was once spread over more than 70 applications, information is centered in, and integrated with one application, RESOLUTION, as the master source, drastically reducing the number of applications. A greatly simplified workflow means that re-entry of existing data into these other systems is eliminated as well as improving data quality and reliability.
The systems provides complete data creation, data tracking, and data integration
from the initial design steps, through the procurement cycle, to construction,
commissioning, and eventually handover between Shell and the individual contractors
around the world.
