FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Resolution Integration Solutions, Inc. Unveils Completely
Integrated Plant Performance Management to Establish True Costs and Drive
Improvements on an Enterprise Level
Solon, Ohio September 27, 2004 -- Resolution Integration Solutions, Inc. unveils their new Plant Performance Management Solution that integrates shop floor and control data within the RESOLUTION plant integration system. The RESOLUTION Plant Performance Management Solution brings shop floor production and control data collected at the task or line level and aggregates this data to the cost center, the plant, and across multiple plants within the company. Data is then readily available to operational levels and management for analysis of operational improvements. This solution is built around an extendible plant model and integrates data from corporate financial and human resource systems with manual or real time operational data to establish and validate the true cost of operations. Production processes and capacities can be standardized to provide visibility from the operational level to corporate management for the analysis of production rates, labor cost, indirect costs, and operating expenses in an effort to remove production and operational waste and drive improvement. Analysis can be performed between what ‘actually’ occurred and what ‘should’ have occurred based on defined capacities, costs, and cycle rates.
Plant Performance Management integrates directly with other RESOLUTION Solutions such as Maintenance Management, Batch Tracking, Key Performance Indicators, and Inventory Management. Plant Performance Management is implemented in RISnet, our web based user interface, making it easy to deploy throughout a distributed organization and multiple sites.
“RESOLUTION provides for the integration of ALL plant MES data and applications: operational, economic, engineering, planning, maintenance, documentation, and more. This both provides 'one stop' shopping for data, and eliminates data ambiguity and duplicates through close integration with other systems. Thus, its benefit is that it allows the efficient use of information to improve the analysis of any aspect of the business.”
RIS, www.ris-resolution.com, founded in 1996, is a leader in providing application integration solutions to the process industries based on the RESOLUTION product whose goal is to reduce the effort to integrate plant data and applications. RESOLUTION is revolutionary in its approach, yet evolutionary in its implementation. It can be implemented for an entire facility, or in one business area at a time, and has the capability to be dynamically configured to match changing user business processes.
